If you're in tokyo, try to visit Dominique Ansel Bakery, there are various unique pastries and dessert. After a successful opening bakery in the United States, Dominique Ansel Bakery opened their stores in Japan located in Omotesando and Ginza.
The concept of this place is an open kitchen where we will be able to see the process of making the cake from the outside and of course the aroma of the smell of bread and cake will be felt hahahaha.

"What A Melon" Soft Serve
Never exhausted the creativity Pastry Chef from France, Dominique Ansel's to create a dessert or pastry. This time he made a watermelon ice cream with a very unique presentation named "What A Melon" Soft Serve (1000¥) This Soft Serve Watermelon can be found at Dominique Ansel Bakery Omotesando.

In the picture, homemade watermelon soft serve swirled inside a slice of juicy sweet watermelon. What's more unique is the addition of chocolate "seeds" on the watermelon. This redish-colored ice cream is also served with a small bottle of sea salt to sprinkle on top. The watermelon is not overly sweet and there is a little hint of flavour that might be of lemongrass.
Crème de la Corn

Not only What-A-Melon, there's another unique dessert "Crème de la Corn" (1000¥) with a freshly grilled corn on the cob brushed with butter and soy sauce, and their homemade caramel sweet corn soft serve swirled on top with corn jam to finish. Not only ice cream that you can eat, but also the grains of corn.

It's incomplete if it goes to Dominique Ansel Bakery without trying their other signature creations. Every month they always make different flavors for Cronut. Honeydew Coconut Cronut (600¥) is available during September. This Cronut filled with honeydew melon jam and coconut ganache, finished with lime zest sugar. The taste of cronut is very tasty, sweet, and there is little sour from the melon. Cronut texture is a bit tough if you cut it with the plastic knife, but after biting it, it's actually quite crispy. Yummy!

Frozen S'more
The last thing to try is Frozen S'more. The staff will burn Frozen S'more in front of us. Revealing a center of homemade vanilla ice cream, crispy chocolate feuilletine, all covered with soft honey marshmallow torched to order. The taste of Frozen S'more is delicious, the vanilla ice cream mixed with a pretty sweet chocolate feuilletine. The marshmallow is rather chewy but fragrant because it is caramelized. The torched scent of these cubed frozen marshmallows adds to the delicacy of Frozen S'more.
For you who are curious about the unique pastry and dessert, Dominique Ansel Bakery can be an option while visiting Japan!
